Q1: What is the difference between a Wash Press and a standard Compactor?
A: A standard compactor only squeezes the water out. The Feiran EP Wash Press has an active washing/agitation zone that uses wash water to separate soft organics (which cause odors) from the hard debris before the pressing stage begins.
Q2: Can it be installed directly under a mechanical bar screen?
A: Yes. We custom-design the receiving hopper to perfectly match the discharge chute of your upstream screens (e.g., Multi-Rake or Step Screens), creating a seamless, enclosed transfer.
Q3: Does it require continuous wash water?
A: No. Wash water is injected intermittently via solenoid valves controlled by the PLC, minimizing water usage while maximizing the cleaning effect.
