How does the self-cleaning mechanism work?
The volute screw design uses alternating fixed and moving rings. As the screw shaft rotates, the moving rings undergo slight axial displacement, continuously cleaning the gaps between rings. This prevents clogging without high-pressure spray washing, saving 90% of wash water.
What maintenance is required?
Quarterly bearing lubrication and annual seal inspection. Bearing service life exceeds 50,000 hours. The self-cleaning design dramatically reduces routine maintenance compared to belt presses or centrifuges.
